Vaya que como dice el refran: "Hijo de tigre"...

Y es que Max Brooks parece habre heredado el gen de la genialidad de su padre Mel Brooks en el terreno literario y narrativo, con dos libros referentes al fenomeno de gran preocupacion mundial de los Zombis, el primero es una obra invaluable que nos enseña como afrontar una amenaza Zombi de nombre "The Zombie Survival Guide", la segunda es una obra que nos indioca cuales pueden ser las repercusiones politcas y filosoficas de una guerra mundial contra Zombis, que a manera de un reporte escrito para las naciones unidas por parte de un enviado especial recoge testimonios de testigos directos y primeras victimas del holocausto, el libro se llama "World War Z".

Y es aqui que Paramaunt toma este ultimo libro para el guion de su siguente pelicula que llevara el mismo nombre y tendra por estrella a Brad Pitt, ya esta en fase de pre-produccion. En el libro tenemos un reporte escrito por un enviado de las naciones unidas quien entrevista a victimas, en la pelicula tendremos a un enviado de las naciones unidas quien realiza una grabacion in situ de la zona afectada recogiendo testimonios de los lugareños. Asi que el pelicula manejara el formato de Documental para darle un toque mas realista.



La pelicula se estrenara para finales del 2012, con la direccion de Marc Forster, el guion y adaptacion de J. Michael Straczynski y con las actuaciones principales de Brad Pitt, Bryan Cranston y Mireille Enos.

Paramount has slated its pricy adaptation of World War Z for theatrical release on December 21st of next year. Director Marc Forster’s cinematic take on Max Brooks’ post-zombpocalyptic novel is being headlined by Brad Pitt – with some admirable names rounding out the supporting cast.

World War Z will open directly against Ang Lee’s 3D adaptation of the acclaimed novel Life of Pi and Disney’s Lone Ranger movie, which will star Depp as Tonto. Those three titles will arrive a week after Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey finally hits theaters, and four days before Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained is unleashed. Suffice it to say, cinemaphiles of all shades are probably going to be spending a lot of time at the theater during the holidays next year.
